The Mexico City Team
The three people who deal with a Mexico City brief.
Dietrich
CEO & Founder
Dietrich's events career started at 20, on the Belgian productions Tomorrowland and White Sensation. In 2020 he co-founded CH3 to carry that production quality into the crypto, gaming and tech industry, and has led its growth and strategy ever since — along with the client relationships that matter most to the company.
Josefina
Sales Manager & Division Coordinator
Josefina brings a luxury travel background to event production, where hotel blocks, transfers and VIP handling are daily work. She covers North America as Sales Manager and Division Coordinator, sourcing venues and negotiating suppliers. On event day she is the one in the room — holding the timings and handling whatever the venue did not anticipate.
Mateo
Sales Manager
Mateo handles CH3's Mexico City client relationships and the wider North American programme that runs out of this hub. Bilingual Spanish and English, he came up as Event Sales Manager on the team that became CH3, running client programmes across APAC, LATAM and the United States. Before events he worked in sales operations in Madrid. Clients tend to come back for him.

CH3 Guarantees How We Work
Fees agreed before anything begins. One producer from brief to load-out, in the room on the night. No handover to a local subcontractor you never met, in any of the four cities.
12h
Same-Day Answers on US Central Time
Mexico City runs on US Central time. Brief us from New York and the answer lands the same hour; from London, it is waiting the next morning.

A Costed Plan Inside Two Days
Two days later you hold three venue options, a production outline and a line-by-line budget, in pesos or dollars.

We Walk It Before You Sign
Listings do not tell you which rooftops survive the June rain, how a colonial building handles power and rigging, or how a truck reaches the Centro Histórico with half the streets closed.

Altitude and traffic change how a build is scheduled, never what is specified.

Quotes Normalised So You Can Compare Them
Venues quote in at least three shapes — minimum consumption, room hire plus catering, or all-in per guest — and VAT is sometimes in the number and sometimes not. We restate them all the same way.

Mexico City — When & WhereTo Organise an Event
When — Mexico City's Key Conference Windows
The pressure is a collision, not a run. Mexico Tech Week and the Formula 1 Grand Prix overlap on 30 October to 1 November — hundreds of host-run side events on top of a race that drew over 400,000 last year. World Business Forum and Corona Capital follow within a fortnight. February, July and August are genuinely quiet.
| Conference | Dates | Category | Size | Book Ahead | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mexico Tech Week | 26 Oct – 1 Nov 2026 | Tech & Startups | — | 10–14 weeks | Citywide and decentralised — no main venue, no central programme. Every side event is host-organised, which is the model CH3 works in. It overlaps the Grand Prix. |
| F1 Mexico City Grand Prix | 30 Oct – 1 Nov 2026 | Motorsport | ~401,000 | 20+ weeks | Round 20 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. Hotels, drivers and crew commit months out; anything on these dates competes with the race for suppliers. |
| World Business Forum | 10–11 Nov 2026 | Business & Leadership | — | 8–12 weeks | C-suite audience at Expo Santa Fe, ten days after Tech Week clears. Closed dinners and private briefings beat open receptions. |
| Corona Capital | Mid-November 2026 | Music | — | 8–12 weeks | The 2026 dates are unpublished; 2025 ran 14–16 November at the Autódromo. It moves hotel availability in the south, not the business districts. |
| America Digital | 16–17 Jun 2027 | Tech & Business | 5,000+ | 12–16 weeks | The 12th edition, at the WTC. C-level attendance, 100+ sessions, 200 expo booths. The 2026 edition ran 9–10 June and is past. |

Where — Best Event Areas in Mexico City
Mexico City is not walkable between districts and traffic decides everything. Guests accept twenty minutes from hotel to venue and resent forty, so the district is really a decision about where they sleep.Explore the Mexico City Neighbourhood Map →
Rooftops · Receptions
Roma Norte
The densest venue cluster in the city — Supra and Balmori on the rooftops, Contramar and Rosetta for buyouts, four design hotels that rent the whole property. Right for 30 to 150, and where most of our shortlist sits. Most of the boutique hotels a visiting group will book are a 15-minute walk away.
Private Dining · Executive Formats
Polanco
Corporate Mexico City, and where the international hotels are. Pujol and Quintonil for closed tables, Museo Jumex when a launch needs architecture. Rooms run from 60 to 1,280 guests. The safest address on an invitation, priced accordingly.
Galas · Large Format
Centro Histórico
Where the rooms big enough for 300 actually are — Foro Valparaiso's baroque palace, the banking hall at Bankers Club, the cloister at Museo Franz Mayer. Load-in is the hard part.
Conferences · Trade Shows
Santa Fe
Expo Santa Fe and the corporate towers around it. Where a full congress goes, and self-contained — hotels, halls and offices in one place. 40 minutes from the centre in traffic.
Cocktail Parties · Activations
Juárez
Between Roma Norte and the Reforma hotels, so it works when half the guest list is corporate and half is not. Toledo Rooftop, which takes up to 120, and Terraza Cha Cha Chá sit here.
Team Events · Value Formats
Condesa & Hipódromo
Quieter and leafier than Roma Norte, same independent venues at lower cost. Best for team days, workshops and anything where a courtyard beats an address.

Corporate Events Mexico City
01
What types of events does CH3 produce in Mexico City?
Congress receptions, cocktail parties and networking evenings, gala dinners, closed-door executive dinners and board meetings, conferences and summits, brand activations, product launches, exhibition stands, retreats and VIP experiences. In Mexico City that has meant 13 events for 12 clients across nine sectors — Jus Mundi, Kellerhals Carrard, Petroleum Analyzer Corporation, ACG Group, FTV Capital, eatbigfish, Kindred and SquareGPS among them, in law, energy, private equity, manufacturing, media, technology, consultancy, education and government.
02
What is the best area for an event in Mexico City?
Roma Norte is our top pick for side event dinners and receptions — the densest concentration of rooftops, restaurant buyouts and design hotels in the city, and right for 30 to 150 guests. Polanco is corporate Mexico City and where the international hotels sit, so it is the safer address when half the guest list is flying in. For 200 to 300 the room has to be in the Centro Histórico. Santa Fe is where a full congress or exhibition goes, and it is self-contained.
03
How far in advance should I book an event in Mexico City?
For late October, brief us by mid-July. Mexico Tech Week and the Formula 1 Grand Prix overlap on 30 October to 1 November, so hotels, drivers, AV crew and security are committed months out — come to us in September and you take what is left. World Business Forum and Corona Capital need eight to twelve weeks. Outside those windows, eight weeks is the practical minimum. February, July and August are genuinely quiet: nothing of scale runs, venues negotiate, and the same budget buys a better room.
04
What does an event in Mexico City actually cost?
Our own Mexico City numbers: receptions for 125 to 300 guests have run $10,000 to $33,000; cocktail parties and networking evenings for 50 to 60 have run $4,700 to $10,100; executive dinners, board meetings and working sessions for 15 to 35 have run up to $15,000. Where you land inside a band is set by venue, catering and production build, not headcount — our highest spend per guest was a board meeting for fifteen. One local warning: venues here quote in three different shapes, minimum consumption, room hire plus catering, or all-in per guest, and VAT is sometimes inside the number and sometimes not. We restate every quote the same way before you see it.
05
How much does it cost to hire CH3?
We work on a flat fee, a fixed contract or a production percentage, depending on scope. A focused event management package covers venue sourcing, supplier coordination across catering, AV and décor, guest list and registration, on-site management and a full run of show. End-to-end production of a larger activation scales from there. Whichever structure applies is agreed before anything begins and itemised, so the invoice matches the quote — and the fee is quoted against your budget, not discovered afterwards.
06
Does CH3 organise corporate retreats and offsites in Mexico?
Yes. Retreats and offsites are one of our ten service lines and one of the busiest — transport, accommodation, programming, team activities, catering and logistics end to end on a single budget, from a two-day leadership offsite to a company-wide week. Mexico gives you range most markets cannot: colonial towns within two hours of the city, lake and mountain properties, and Caribbean coast inside a short flight. Send us group size, dates and how far you will travel, and you get a costed shortlist.
Tech, Crypto & Gaming Events Mexico City
07
Does CH3 produce crypto and gaming events in Mexico City?
Crypto is where CH3 started and it is most of our North American work — nine productions for Nillion, Tenderize, Auros, MorphL2, Flock.io and Chorus One, seven of them inside ETH Denver week, plus New York and San Francisco. Rooftop takeovers for 150, technical summits, closed dinners, a bowling alley on the 16th Street Mall. In Mexico City the demand so far has been corporate, so the same crew brings crypto production standards to a market that has not seen them yet.
08
Does CH3 handle invitations, registration and guest management?
Yes, as a core deliverable rather than an afterthought. Invitation design and distribution, RSVP tracking, registration pages, curated guest lists, on-site check-in and post-event attendance reporting. For a congress side event where access is controlled, that is most of the job. In Mexico City it also means briefing venue security properly and arranging vetted transport, because guests should not be finding their own way home late.
09
Does CH3 help with event marketing?
For the event itself, yes. Landing pages, email campaigns to your guest list, social assets for pre-event promotion, and photography and video on the night. The job is filling the room and documenting what happened in it. Broader digital marketing and paid media outside the event are not something we offer.
10
Can I pay with crypto?
Yes. CH3 accepts BTC, ETH and USDC and has since day one — the company grew up in the crypto conference world. Invoices can be issued in pesos, euros or dollars with crypto settlement. Tell us at contracting stage.
11
We have no Mexican entity. Can CH3 handle contracting and suppliers?
That is how most of this work already runs. Clients brief us remotely, approve by email and arrive for the event. Supplier contracts, deposits, VAT and on-site staffing sit with CH3, and you receive one itemised invoice in pesos or dollars. Most of the clients we have produced for in this city commissioned the work from another country.
12
Can CH3 design and build our exhibition stand in Mexico City?
Yes, the full lifecycle. Creative concept and design, manufacturing, build-up, install and breakdown at Expo Santa Fe or Centro Citibanamex, then storage and shipping so the booth is ready for the next show. Both venues run their own contractor rules and we work to them. Whether it is a small product display or a full branded build, we manage every step so your team can work the floor.
13
What makes CH3 different from other event agencies in Mexico City?
Most agencies here are either a Mexico City shop or a North American one. CH3 is both, on one contract: 13 events for 12 clients in this city across nine sectors, from a 300-guest congress reception to a board meeting for fifteen, and the same team covering Denver and New York. That means one producer, one invoice and no handover to a subcontractor you have never met. Behind it sit 680+ events for 440 clients across 38 cities.
14
How many events has CH3 produced in Mexico City?
13, for 12 clients, across nine sectors — law, energy, finance, manufacturing, technology, consultancy, media, education and government. The largest was a 300-guest reception for Jus Mundi during the IBA annual congress. The most recent was a board meeting FTV Capital brought here in February 2026. Across North America the count is 22, and counting.
