Cannes Event Venues

Beach clubs, the Palais, the palace hotels and the old town — fifteen Cannes venues, with the nine CH3 has actually produced in named as such.

Cannes is a small city with an unusually concentrated venue market: almost everything worth booking sits on two kilometres of seafront, and what separates one plage from the next is not the room but how it prices and how late it runs. The fifteen below cover the private beach clubs on the Croisette, the Palais and the three palace hotels, the old town and the Vieux Port, and the daytime spaces inland on Rue Hoche. Nine are venues CH3 has produced in — those cards say what we ran, for whom and at what guest count. The rest are venue intel, and say so.Capacities here are indicative and move with layout, catering and licensing; we confirm them per brief.

Beach Clubs on the Croisette

The default format in Cannes and where most of CH3’s work here has happened. Private plages on the sand between the Carlton and the Martinez, each trading as a restaurant by day and a reception venue by night. Sunset decides the running order more than the venue does.

Loungers and beach club terrace at Rado Plage on the Cannes Croisette

Rado Plage

PAX40–250AreaCroisette · Centre-VilleVibeBeach Club & Private Plage

The single busiest venue in CH3’s Cannes portfolio. Sand, decking and a bar that runs from breakfast through to a post-sunset reception, on the stretch of Croisette between the Carlton and the Martinez. CH3 has produced five events here in a single EthCC week — dYdX’s 150-guest brunch, Paradigm’s beach café work session, Bitvavo’s Sunset Soirée, and closed formats for Trail of Bits and ReOwn. Trades as Rado Beach on some listings.

Tables set on the sand at a Croisette beach club in Cannes

L’Ondine

PAX40–150AreaCroisette · Centre-VilleVibeBeach Club & Sunset Receptions

A private plage on the central Croisette, and where two of CH3’s Cannes receptions ran back to back in the same week. Sherlock’s Sunset Beach took 90 guests here from 18:30, and unit 410’s Crypto on the Coast 75, co-hosted with Pantera and NEAR. The stretch is shared with neighbouring concessions, so confirm exactly which section is contracted before you build on it.

Parasols and loungers at Vilebrequin la plage with the Carlton behind, Cannes

Vilebrequin la plage

PAX40–180Area64 Bd de la CroisetteVibeBranded Beach Club

A beach club on the sand between the Carlton and the Martinez, listed by Google as an event and wedding venue rather than only a restaurant. Its striped cabanas and yellow-trimmed parasols are the most recognisable furniture on the Croisette, which matters if you want the location legible in photography. Adjacent to L’Ondine and frequently co-booked with it.

Beach terrace seating at Lucia on the Cannes Croisette

Lucia

PAX80–250AreaCroisette · Centre-VilleVibeBeach Terrace & Restaurant

The largest reception CH3 has produced in Cannes ran here. Maker Growth’s Stars in the Sky took 200 guests across the terrace and the sand, with the Sky, Spark and Grove brands on the build. It is the top price tier on this page — worth it when the guest count is high enough that the address is doing work for you.

Set tables and yellow parasols on the sand at Miramar Plage, Cannes

Miramar Plage

PAX40–180Area64 Bd de la CroisetteVibeBeach Restaurant & Bar

A beach restaurant and cocktail bar on the same Croisette address as Vilebrequin, open until midnight and typed as an event venue. No CH3 event here yet, but it is the closest alternative in character and capacity to the plages we do use — useful as a second option when the EthCC or Cannes Lions weeks have taken everything else on that stretch.

The Palais & the Palace Hotels

The other half of the market: one full-scale congress centre and three Belle Époque palaces along the same kilometre of seafront. This is where room blocks, ballrooms and anything above 300 guests live — and where the conference calendar bites hardest.

The red carpet steps of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes at night

Palais des Festivals et des Congrès

PAXUp to 3,000+Area1 Bd de la CroisetteVibeFlagship Congress Centre

The only full-scale conference plant in Cannes and the anchor for every major show in the city — MIPIM, EthCC, the Film Festival, Cannes Lions, TFWA, MIPCOM. Fifteen halls, an auditorium, its own accredited contractor rules and the red-carpet steps. Inside the September-to-December run its halls are committed months ahead; brief sixteen to twenty weeks out for those dates.

The Regent Carlton Cannes lit at dusk seen from the beach

Regent Carlton Cannes

PAX20–400Area58 Bd de la CroisetteVibePalace Hotel & Beach Club

The Belle Époque landmark of the Croisette, reopened after a full restoration, with ballrooms, terraces, a garden and its own beach club on the pier. The building is a large part of what a guest remembers, which is the argument for it — and it holds room blocks in the same place as the event. No CH3 production here to date.

The Hotel Martinez beach jetty and facade on the Cannes Croisette

Hôtel Martinez

PAX20–350Area73 Bd de la CroisetteVibePalace Hotel & Private Beach

The Art Deco palace at the eastern end of the Croisette, part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection, with event salons, a rooftop suite and a private beach and jetty. It sits directly behind the plages CH3 works on, so it is the natural accommodation partner for a beach-club event as well as a venue in its own right. No CH3 production here to date.

The pool terrace and facade of Hotel Barriere Le Majestic, Cannes

Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic

PAX20–500Area10 Bd de la CroisetteVibePalace Hotel & Ballrooms

The palace hotel closest to the Palais des Festivals — a two-minute walk, which is the whole point of it during a congress week. Ballrooms, a pool terrace, a private beach and the largest banqueting capacity of the three palaces here. During the Film Festival it is effectively unbookable. No CH3 production here to date.

The Old Town, the Port & Rooftops

West of the Palais the character changes completely. Stone rooms in Le Suquet, a design hotel by the Vieux Port and a rooftop facing the sunset rather than away from it. Smaller numbers, lower costs, and nothing that reads as a conference.

The rooftop terrace at Canopy by Hilton Cannes above the bay

Canopy by Hilton Cannes

PAX20–200Area2 Bd Jean Hibert · Vieux PortVibeDesign Hotel & Meeting Space

At the western end by the Vieux Port, away from the Croisette pricing and a short walk from the Palais. Meeting space, a spa and the Marea rooftop in the same building. CH3 has produced twice in this building — a 100-guest DeFi salon at ground level and a private Ethereum gathering on the roof.

Sunset dining on the Marea rooftop terrace above Cannes

Marea Rooftop

PAX30–150Area2 Bd Jean Hibert · Vieux PortVibeRooftop Bar & Terrace

The rooftop above Canopy, open 17:00 to 23:00, looking west over the Vieux Port and the bay — which means the sunset is in front of your guests rather than behind them, unlike most of the Croisette. CH3 produced a private Ethereum gathering here. Evening only, and weather-dependent with no indoor fallback of its own.

The candlelit bar room at La Fee Verte in Le Suquet, Cannes

La Fée Verte

PAX15–50AreaLe Suquet · Rue Saint-AntoineVibeCocktail Room & Full Buyout

A small candlelit cocktail room in the old town, opening at 17:00, and the highest-rated venue on this page. CH3 has produced two events here — an eighteen-person Ethereum team room and a 50-guest LambdaClass gathering, the latter as a full buyout. At that number it is the whole venue, not a section of one. Steep, narrow streets make load-in slow.

Day Venues & Pop-Up Spaces

Brunches, drop-in spaces, working sessions and closed lunches — the formats that fill a conference week around the evening events. Two of these sit inland on Rue Hoche, where there is no seafront premium at all.

Terrace seating outside Armani Caffe on the Cannes Croisette

Armani Caffè

PAX20–80Area42/43 Bd de la CroisetteVibeCroisette Terrace · Daytime

A terrace on the Croisette itself, open 09:30 to 19:00 — a daytime venue, not an evening one. CH3 produced the Ethereum Foundation’s private lunch for sixty here during EthCC week. Right when you want the address and the seafront without committing to a full beach-club build, and the hours suit a lunch or an afternoon briefing.

The lit bar counter at Love Cafe on Rue Hoche, Cannes

Love Café

PAX20–100 rollingArea24 Rue Hoche · CarnotVibeCafé & Pop-Up Space

Inland on the pedestrianised Rue Hoche, open 08:00 to 16:00 and closed Sundays. CH3 ran Tenderly’s Network Café here as a branded all-day drop-in space for developers — around a hundred people through the door across the day rather than a hundred at once, which is the format this venue is right for. Five minutes from the Croisette, without the pricing.

Pavement tables outside Green Bagel Cafe on Rue Hoche, Cannes

Green Bagel Café

PAX20–60Area10 Rue Hoche · CarnotVibeCafé Buyout · Daytime

A daytime café a few doors along the same street, taken as a private buyout rather than hired as a function room. CH3 produced Multiplied’s founders brunch for sixty here, co-hosted with SpaceDev. The right answer when a morning format needs somewhere unpretentious near the centre and the budget is better spent elsewhere.

Venue Comparison Overview

All fifteen side by side — where each sits, what it is, and roughly what it holds. Treat these as working bands, not contracted maximums — layout, catering and the licence all shift them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cannes-specific answers on beach clubs, conference weeks and how the plages actually quote.

01Which Cannes venues work during EthCC or Cannes Lions week?
The plages, and they go first.Rado Plage, L’Ondine, Lucia and their neighbours are the venue of choice for side events precisely because they are not hotel function rooms, so the good stretches are gone months before the conference. If the Croisette is committed, the two workable directions are west — Canopy and Marea by the Vieux Port — or inland to Rue Hoche, where Love Café and Green Bagel Café run day formats at a fraction of the cost. The Palais itself is not an option during a show it is hosting.
02How far ahead do I need to book a Cannes venue?
Away from the big weeks, eight to twelve weeks is unhurried.Inside them Cannes behaves like a different city. The Film Festival in May and Cannes Lions in June take the hotels and every beach club months out, and the autumn run — TFWA, MIPCOM, MAPIC, ILTM — does the same to the Palais from September to December. For those dates brief us sixteen to twenty weeks ahead. The best plages hold returning bookings year on year, so they go earlier still.
03Where should a private or partner dinner go in Cannes?
The number decides it.For 15–50 guests:La Fée Verte in Le Suquet, taken as a full buyout — CH3 has run both an eighteen-person team room and a fifty-guest gathering there. For 50–100:Armani Caffè on the Croisette for a lunch, or Marea above the Vieux Port for an evening facing the sunset. For 100 and up:a plage buyout at Rado Plage or Lucia. CH3 has produced closed dining in Cannes for the Ethereum Foundation, Trail of Bits, Montague Law and Multiplied.
04Can you run an event on the water in Cannes?
Yes, and it is the format guests remember.Charters leave from the Vieux Port, and the Îles de Lérins are a fifteen-minute crossing offshore — close enough that a tender transfer works as part of the evening rather than as travel. Two constraints worth planning around: it is weather-dependent, so hold a covered fallback, and the boats are committed a long way out for the Film Festival, Cannes Lions and the Yachting Festival in September.
05Can CH3 find venues that are not on this page?
Yes —fifteen venues is a guide, not the extent of what is bookable in Cannes.Beyond these we work with private villas in the Californie hills, the other Croisette plages, hotel event floors, larger spaces west in La Bocca where a build needs real room, and charter operators out of the Vieux Port and Port Canto. Tell us what you are planning— format, numbers, dates, budget — and a shortlist comes back with real options on it.
06Which Cannes venues suit a workshop or a working day?
You want daylight, hours and no evening turnover.Love Café on Rue Hoche is built for it — open 08:00 to 16:00, inland, and the room CH3 used for Tenderly’s all-day developer drop-in. Canopy by Hilton has proper meeting space with a hotel behind it for a multi-day programme. Paradigm’s beach café at Rado Plage shows the third option: a plage taken for the day as a work session, then flipped to drinks at sunset.
07How do Cannes venues quote, and why is comparing them so hard?
Three different pricing shapes, and a clause you will not find anywhere else. Some venues charge a hire fee plus catering, some a minimum spend, some all-in per guest — and most of the plages add a charge covering the sunbed revenue they lose by closing to the public for you. That last one is specific to Cannes and it is where quotes diverge most. We restate every quote in one shape so a shortlist is genuinely comparable, then give you a fixed fee and an itemised budget in euros.
08Why hire CH3 rather than book the plage ourselves?
A rental gives you the space. A CH3 production gives you the event.CH3 handles everything— venue sourcing and negotiation, production design, AV, catering, staffing, branding, guest management and on-the-night operations — as a single point of contact, with a fixed fee agreed before anything starts and one named producer from brief to load-out.Send it overand what comes back is a proposal, not a list of rooms.
