April
Paris Blockchain Week
The last edition to run under this name, at the Carrousel du Louvre. Seven editions built it into the most credentialed institutional digital-assets room in Europe — over 10,000 participants across two days, more than 70% of them C-suite, founders, policymakers or asset managers. From 2027 it returns as Signal Week at the Palais des Congrès, co-located with the RAISE AI summit.
June
VivaTech
Europe’s largest technology and innovation show, in its tenth anniversary edition at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles: around 180,000 visitors from more than 160 countries, 14,000 startups and over 2,000 investors, with three trade days followed by a public Saturday. A free preview takes over a pedestrianised Champs-Élysées on Sunday 14 June. Hotel rates across the city move with this week — it is the single best window of the year for corporate side events, investor dinners and launches.
September
Big Data & AI Paris
France’s largest data and AI gathering, run by RX France with around 15,000 visitors, 180 exhibitors and 300 speakers including figures from Airbus, Accor, Thales, Coface and Bouygues Telecom. The 2026 edition was deliberately narrowed from open access to qualified enterprise decision-makers, which makes it a better week for closed-door executive dinners than for open receptions.
October
Mondial de l’Auto
The 91st Paris Motor Show, and the oldest motor show in the world. More than 500,000 visitors across five halls at Porte de Versailles, with 60+ marques against 48 at the last edition and over 1,200 exhibitors — BMW, Volvo, Mercedes and Ford all returning. Monday the 12th is press and trade only, with the public in from Tuesday the 13th. Hotel stock across the 15th and 16th arrondissements is effectively gone months ahead.
Paris Games Week
The 15th edition, badged the Playground Edition, and the centre of the French games market. For the first time it runs evening sessions and stages finals at the Dôme de Paris as a second site, and a Hors les Murs programme spreads activations across Paris and Île-de-France in the weeks beforehand — which opens a genuine side-event window before the show floor even opens.
November
Big Data & AI World Paris
Part of TECH SHOW Paris, run by CloserStill Media, and a separate event from Big Data & AI Paris in September despite the near-identical name. Enterprise data and AI buyers, back at Porte de Versailles. Worth confirming the dates directly with the organiser before you commit — some listings still carry an October slot.
Side-Event Opportunity Map
Where a Paris side event still fits in 2026, and where it does not.
VivaTech Week — Jun 17–20
Around 180,000 visitors, 14,000 startups and 2,000+ investors in one place, with three trade days before the public Saturday. The widest and most senior corporate audience Paris assembles all year, and the week where an investor dinner or a launch reaches people who are already in town. Book twelve to sixteen weeks ahead; the Champs-Élysées preview on Sunday 14 June is a free warm-up moment worth planning around.
The October Fortnight — Oct 12–25
The Mondial de l’Auto (12–18) and Paris Games Week (22–25) run back to back at the same venue, putting more than half a million visitors through Porte de Versailles inside two weeks. Two completely different audiences, one infrastructure crunch. Highest ceiling of the year for brand activations — and the tightest, so book earliest of all.
Big Data & AI Paris — Sep 15–16
Deliberately narrowed for 2026 from an open show to qualified enterprise decision-makers, with speakers from Airbus, Accor, Thales and Bouygues Telecom. That shift makes it the best week of the year for a closed executive dinner or a small technical briefing rather than an open reception.
Hors les Murs — the pre-PGW window
Paris Games Week now runs a programme of activations across Paris and Île-de-France in the weeks before the show opens. Venues are still available, the audience is already paying attention, and you are not competing with the show floor. The most under-used window on this calendar.
Best Low-Pressure Windows
January and February are the quietest months for both venues and rates — good conditions for client retreats and executive forums with nothing competing. Two Paris-specific warnings: August looks empty but venues, caterers and technical suppliers close for the annual break, so availability is worse than the hotel rates suggest; and December is company-party season, which takes the best private rooms off the market from early November.
