Malta’s calendar runs on iGaming: SBC Summit in St Julian’s in April, NEXT in Valletta in May, SiGMA Europe back in May 2027. Winter stays quiet. The dates for Malta, Italy and Switzerland, with Malta’s tourists per month.

January
WEF Annual Meeting, Davos
The World Economic Forum’s 56th Annual Meeting, held under the theme A Spirit of Dialogue. Next: 18–22 January 2027.
February
Malta Carnival
Malta’s oldest festival, from the time of the Knights. Floats fill St George’s Square in Valletta and St Anne Street in Floriana; the grand finale is on the 17th.
NextGen Payments & RegTech Forum
One day at the Hilton in St Julian’s on payments, DORA and stablecoins, with Bank of Valletta and Bitpanda on the panels. Back on 25 February 2027.
April
Malta International Fireworks Festival
The 25th edition: around 40 teams, opening in Nadur, Gozo. Pyro-musical nights over the Grand Harbour on the 20th and 25th, grand finale on the 30th.
Salone del Mobile · Milan Design Week
The 64th Salone drew 316,342 visitors from 167 countries to 1,900 brands, with Design Week spread across Milan around it. Next: 13–18 April 2027.
SBC Summit Malta
Held in St Julian’s itself, and its biggest edition yet: a record 6,000 attendees from 68 countries, 65% of them operators and affiliates.

NEXT Summit Valletta
Operator-led iGaming summit above the Grand Harbour, with a week of side events around it. 2025 drew 5,000+, 1,200 at C-level. Next: 26–27 May 2027.
June
Art Basel
290 galleries from 43 countries, 90,000 visitors from 103. Collectors come for the preview days. Next: 17–20 June 2027.
Point Zero Forum
Central bankers, regulators and finance chiefs, run by GFTN with the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance during Swiss Fintech Week.
July
Isle of MTV Malta
Europe’s largest free summer festival. Katy Perry headlined before a record crowd of around 40,000 at the Granaries; Malta Music Week ran 22–26 July.
September
Milan Fashion Week
Women’s Spring/Summer 2027: 61 shows among 203 appointments, opened by Prada. Milan expected 141,000 visitors. CH3 produced The Fashion Life Tour’s pop-up at the September 2023 edition.
October
Wave by Vento
Italian Tech Week under its new name: founders, investors and tech leaders at OGR Torino, with side events across Turin.
Rolex Middle Sea Race
The 47th edition: 606 nautical miles around Sicily, starting at 11:00 under the bastions. In 2025, 118 yachts and about 1,000 crew.
Plan ₿ Forum
Lugano’s Bitcoin conference, fifth edition, with Paolo Ardoino and Adam Back among 100+ speakers. 2025 drew 4,000+ from 60 countries.
November
SiGMA World
Nine halls and more than 1,000 stands at Fiera Roma. CH3 produced SiGMA’s own seated dinner for a hundred guests in Rome during the 2025 edition.
DeAI Summit
Decentralised AI and its governance, run by the HumanAIx Foundation: debates, investor panels and pitches, ending with a Malta Declaration.
Techexpo Malta
Malta’s national technology expo, run by the economy ministry and the Malta Digital Innovation Authority, with B2B days on AI.
May
SiGMA Europe
SiGMA’s Malta show returns in a new May slot, at MFCC to keep delegates near St Julian’s hotels. 12,000 delegates and 400+ exhibitors. CH3 has produced for SiGMA itself.

In 2026 SBC Summit closed in St Julian’s on 30 April, the night of the Fireworks Festival finale. A harbour terrace dinner after the last session.
Winter — December to February
Under 230,000 tourists a month, half of August. Venues have dates, hotels have rooms, and Carnival runs mid-February.
October — Turin, Valletta, Lugano
Wave in Turin on the 7th, the Middle Sea Race on the 17th, Plan ₿ in Lugano on the 23rd. October is a Malta peak month.
November — Rome, then MFCC
SiGMA World in Rome on 2–5 November; three weeks later DeAI and Techexpo share MFCC, in a quieter Malta month.
